Armed Robbery Caught On Surveillance In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The D.C. Metro Police Department is actively seeking a suspect involved in an armed robbery. The incident occurred in a business located on the 4300 block of Texas Avenue in Southeast D.C.

On the evening of December 19th, around 7:19 p.m., the suspect entered the premises and confronted an employee. Brandishing a handgun, the suspect demanded money. After the employee complied, the suspect promptly left the area.

Surveillance footage captured images of the suspect, aiding in identification efforts. The police have released these images and a video to gather public assistance.

The D.C. Metro Police urge anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or details of the incident to contact them at (202) 727-9099. Alternatively, tips can be texted to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
