Police Seeking Two Men Who Assaulted and Robbed Teen on NYC Subway Platform

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A robbery on the northbound “L” train platform at Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenue subway station left a 17-year-old male victim without his cellphone and a sum of currency.

The New York City Police Department reported that the incident occurred on Monday, at approximately 3:40 p.m.

The victim was approached by two males who assaulted him and forcibly took his belongings.

The suspects are described as one male with a light complexion, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, and black coat, and the other as a male with a medium complexion, dressed in a dark bubble jacket and dark pants. They were last seen fleeing on foot.

The NYPD has released media of the suspects and is seeking public assistance. Tips can be submitted to the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS or through the CrimeStoppers website.
