TEANECK, NJ – A home invasion incident occurred near Tryon Park on January 12, as reported by Teaneck Police Detective Sgt. James Lynch. Two armed individuals forcibly entered a residence through a rear door.
The invasion, which took place around 3 p.m., prompted a rapid response from Teaneck Police. Assistance from neighboring law enforcement agencies helped in establishing a perimeter. However, the intruders had already fled the scene.
Four occupants of the home suffered minor injuries and received on-site medical attention from the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps. The nature of the injuries was not disclosed, and there was no immediate information on the potential motive behind the invasion.
The Bergen County Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Identification joined the investigation, gathering evidence at the scene. Teaneck Police, supported by the county prosecutor’s office, are conducting a thorough investigation.
