Man Assaulted at 74th and Broadway Station in NYC

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A 43-year-old male was assaulted at the 74 Street/Broadway Station in New York City on Tuesday, January 02, 2024, at approximately 1320 hours. The victim was inside the station when an unknown individual approached him and punched him in the face in an unprovoked attack.

The victim sustained minor injuries to the face and was subsequently taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition for medical attention. The identity of the assailant remains unknown, as the individual fled the scene on foot to parts unknown.

The unknown individual is described as a male with a medium build and a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded jacket, grey pants, grey sneakers, and a grey hat.
