Juvenile Home Invasion Suspect Escapes Police, Later Arrested

TOWSON, MD – A 14-year-old juvenile was apprehended by the Baltimore County Police Department on January 13, 2024, in connection with a robbery and home invasion. During processing at the Dundalk Precinct, the juvenile managed to escape through an unsecured door.

The initial arrest stemmed from a home invasion incident, for which the juvenile was being charged. Following the escape, a pursuit ensued, but the juvenile initially eluded capture. However, later that evening, officers successfully located and re-arrested the youth.

After being taken into custody for the second time, the juvenile was placed under the supervision of the Department of Juvenile Services. The circumstances of the escape are under investigation, highlighting potential security concerns at the Dundalk Precinct.
