Greenbelt Police Investigate Reported Threat Involving a Firearm

GREENBELT, MARYLAND – On Sunday night around 11 pm, the Greenbelt Police Department received a report of a threatening incident near 6200 Spring Hill Drive. A woman informed an officer that she had been threatened by a light-skinned Black male with a light-colored beard, who was driving a white car with Kentucky license plates.

According to the woman’s account, the man exited his vehicle and brandished a gun. However, it was noted that he did not point the firearm at her. Following the incident, the suspect reportedly drove away down Greenbelt Road. The Greenbelt Police are currently investigating the matter and ask anyone with information to come forward to assist in their inquiries.
