Man Who Groped Teen Girl on Christmas Eve on NYC Subway Train Identified

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance to identify a suspect involved in a forcible touching incident. The incident occurred on Sunday, December 24, 2023, around 10:40 pm.

A 16-year-old female was exiting an MTA B60 bus near 320 Rockaway Avenue when an unknown individual approached her.

The suspect forcibly restrained the victim’s arms and grabbed her buttocks. Following the incident, the suspect was seen fleeing on the MTA B60 bus near Rockaway Avenue and Prospect Place. The victim, after escaping the bus, refused medical attention.

The suspect is a male with a dark complexion, last noted wearing a blue Moose Knuckles jacket with gold trim and a fur hood, black sweatpants, and turquoise high-top sneakers. Images of the suspect are available through the Department’s Chief of Public Information (DCPI) office.

The NYPD is actively seeking any information regarding this incident. Individuals with knowledge are asked to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), or for Spanish speakers, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
