Bizarre Domestic Dispute Unfolds Inside Car in Pocono Township

POCONO TOWNSHIP, PA – Isaac O. Oropeza was arrested on Saturday, with assistance from the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department.

This followed an incident on January 8th, when the Pocono Township Police Department responded to a domestic dispute on Route 611.

The victim reported a heated argument with Oropeza, who then forcibly drove away in her vehicle, with her in the passenger seat.

During the drive, Oropeza choked the victim before the car became stuck in snow in Mount Pocono. Oropeza faces charges including strangulation, simple assault, and reckless endangerment.

The Pocono Township Police Department is seeking further information on Oropeza’s whereabouts and asks anyone with information to contact them at (570)992-9911 or submit a tip online.
