Moped Bandit Snatches Expensive Necklace from Unsuspecting Bronx Woman

Bronx, NY – A daylight robbery on Tuesday has left a local community on alert after a 26-year-old woman was targeted by a thief on a moped. The incident, occurring in the vicinity of East 167 Street & Sheridan Avenue, involved an unknown assailant snatching a necklace from the victim.

At approximately 12:58 PM, the female victim was approached from behind by the individual who then proceeded to forcefully remove her necklace. Following the robbery, the assailant made a quick escape, heading northbound on Grand Concourse aboard a blue moped. Despite the ordeal, authorities have confirmed that the victim did not sustain any injuries.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, last seen donning a blue sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a black helmet, making his getaway on a blue moped.
