HILLSIDE, NJ – Early Sunday morning, Hillside Police were called to a residence on the 100 block of Virginia Street, following a report of a shooting. The incident occurred around 1:40 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found an individual suffering from a bullet wound to the leg. The victim was immediately transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The Hillside Police Department indicated that the shooting might have been accidental. However, the investigation is still active as they work to understand the circumstances leading to the incident.
