Fatal Shooting in Kingsbridge Leaves One Dead

NEW YORK, NY – A tragic shooting occurred in front of 131 W Kingsbridge Road in the 50th Precinct area, resulting in the death of a 26-year-old male. The incident took place on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at around 10:56 AM, prompting an immediate response from police to the 911 call reporting the shooting.

Upon their arrival, law enforcement officers discovered the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. Emergency Medical Services promptly transported him to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was unfortunately pronounced dead.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and the investigation is actively continuing. The identity of the deceased is being withheld until the family is notified.
