Towson, MD – The Baltimore County Police Department announced the arrest of 23-year-old Darren A. Brown in relation to a non-fatal shooting incident that took place on Thursday, February 8, in the Wilkens area.
Officers were dispatched to the unit block of N. Twin Circle Way at 3:29 PM, where they discovered a juvenile victim with a gunshot wound.
Investigations revealed that the juvenile accidentally shot themselves with an unsecured firearm found accessible within the premises.
The victim is currently in critical but stable condition at a local hospital. Brown has been charged with reckless endangerment, neglect of a minor, and various firearms-related offenses and is being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
