Off-Duty FDNY Lieutenant Arrested for Allegedly Choking EMT in Brooklyn

Brooklyn, NY – An off-duty New York City Fire Department Lieutenant was apprehended on Saturday, February 17, in an incident involving charges of strangulation. The arrest of 47-year-old Neal Francis took place at 12:29 PM, within the 77th Precinct’s jurisdiction.

Francis, who serves with the FDNY, now faces serious legal repercussions for his actions. This case is currently under review, with further details pending as the investigation continues.

The New York Post reported that Francis choked an EMT.
