Senior Citizen Attacked Getting Off Bus in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – A 65-year-old man was assaulted after getting off a bus near Nostrand and Dekalb Avenues, according to police reports.

The incident took place on Wednesday, January 10, at approximately 8:52 PM. The victim was approached by an unidentified male who assaulted him by punching him multiple times in the head. The assailant then fled the scene on foot to an unknown location.

The attack resulted in minor injuries and a laceration to the victim’s head. Emergency Medical Services responded promptly, transporting the victim to the Brooklyn Hospital Center Neurology/Neurosurgery department, where he is listed in stable condition.
