ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. – Orange County, N.Y., invites everyone to join in the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, starting early and lasting throughout the week leading up to March 17. The county is set to host an array of events, including a fun run, parades, and a comedy show, bringing the spirit of the Emerald Isle to the Hudson Valley.

Amanda Dana, Director of Orange County Tourism & Film, encourages residents and visitors to wear green and participate in the festivities. The schedule includes New York’s shortest St. Patrick’s parade in Monroe, the traditional Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Parade in Goshen, and the first-ever Newburgh Leprechaun One-Mile Fun Run, among other events.

Highlights include a day filled with music, Irish breakfast and lunch specials, and the Laughs Along the Wallkill St. Patrick’s Day Comedy Special at City Winery Hudson Valley in Montgomery. The week will conclude with performances by Celtic Woman at Eisenhower Hall Theatre in West Point, showcasing their angelic voices and instrumental artistry.
