Pedestrian Critical After Vehicle Crash in Gloucester Township

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A motor vehicle struck a pedestrian at Blackwood Clementon Road and Kelly Drivers Lane intersection on March 11. The Gloucester Township Police Department reported that the incident occurred at approximately 11:00 PM.

Upon arrival, officers found the pedestrian unconscious with serious bodily injuries in the roadway. The vehicle and its uninjured driver remained at the scene. The victim was promptly transported to Cooper Hospital’s Trauma Unit in Camden by Inspira ambulance.

The area was closed to traffic for several hours to facilitate the investigation led by the Gloucester Township Police Serious Crash Investigation Team. The Gloucester Township Fire Department and Inspira medical services provided assistance at the scene. Currently, the victim is listed in critical but stable condition, suffering from a possible brain injury.
