MAGNOLIA, DE — Delaware State Police apprehended Anthony Dollson, a 49-year-old Trenton, New Jersey, resident, on multiple drug charges following a vehicle and foot pursuit in Magnolia on the night of March 13.

The incident began when troopers noticed a green Chrysler 300 with an equipment violation on Peachtree Run at Walnut Shade Road. An attempt to stop the vehicle resulted in Dollson, the driver, fleeing the scene, leading to a high-speed chase. The pursuit ended when Dollson’s vehicle became disabled after hitting a curb on Rising Sun Road, leading to his arrest following a brief foot chase. A passenger in the vehicle was also detained but later released.

Upon searching the Chrysler, officers found approximately 5 grams of crack cocaine, 3.75 grams of cocaine, and 40 tabs of MDMA (ecstasy). Dollson was charged with numerous drug offenses and was transported to Troop 3 for processing. Following arraignment by Justice of the Peace Court 7, he was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $10,305 secured bond.
