Shooting in Brooklyn Leaves One Dead

BROOKLYN, NY – Police were called to the scene of a shooting at Belmont Avenue and Euclid Avenue on Thursday at approximately 12:48 PM, resulting in one fatality.

Upon their arrival, officers found a 21-year-old male with gunshot wounds to the torso, inflicted by an unidentified assailant. The victim was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Brookdale Hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is actively continuing. The identity of the deceased will be released following notification of next of kin.
