NYPD Seek Suspect in Subway Public Lewdness Incident

NEW YORK CITY, NY — The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man involved in a public lewdness incident on the subway. The event took place within the 7th Precinct/Transit District 4 area.

On the evening of March 3, 2024, at around 10:50 PM, a 21-year-old woman reported that while she was on the northbound “F” train platform at the Delancey Street station, an unknown man exposed himself and committed a lewd act before fleeing. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the incident.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, aged between 40 to 45 years, about 5’10” tall, and weighing approximately 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black and red jacket, dark-colored pants, blue shorts, and black shoes.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the suspect to come forward to assist in the investigation.
