WASHINGTON, DC – Dayvon Baker, a 34-year-old resident of Washington, D.C., has been sentenced to a year and a day in prison, followed by three years of supervised release for felony second-degree theft.
U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves and Metropolitan Police Department Chief Pamela Smith announced the sentencing.
Baker admitted guilt to the charge on February 9, acknowledging his role in a series of package thefts. Superior Court Judge Lynn Leibovitz handed down the sentence today.
