Clarksburg Drug Raid Shuts Down Major Local Trafficker

CLARKSBURG, MD – Rasheed Quiovers, a 24-year-old from Clarksburg, has been taken into custody on charges related to the possession of narcotics and a firearm, as announced by the Montgomery County Police Department.

The arrest occurred on Thursday, April 4, 2024, when officers from the 5th District Community Action Team (DCAT) of the Montgomery County Department of Police initiated a traffic stop on an off-white Toyota in the vicinity of Highland Hall Dr. Quiovers, identified as the vehicle’s passenger, was found to have two outstanding warrants in Montgomery County and was apprehended without any issues.

A search conducted on Quiovers revealed multiple illicit items, including suspected Molly (MDMA) pills, 44 M30 suspected fentanyl pills, a live ammunition round, a digital scale, and three Alprazolam pills. Further inquiries led to the discovery of a backpack in Quiovers’ possession, which contained a loaded .45 caliber Glock 21 handgun equipped with an extended 30-round magazine and a full-auto switch, an additional 1,025 M30 suspected fentanyl pills, marijuana, packaging supplies, a digital CDS scale, and a significant sum of money.
