Parsippany Police Investigate Early Morning Attempted Burglary

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany Police responded to an attempted burglary at a residence on Troy Meadow Road on April 6, 2024, at approximately 4:49 a.m. The homeowner reported being awakened by the sound of two male suspects trying to access his home. He observed the suspects looking at his vehicle in the driveway and proceeding to open the gate to his backyard. Upon noticing the homeowner, the suspects immediately fled to a nearby vehicle, where a third accomplice was waiting.

The getaway vehicle was identified as a white Hyundai Tucson. The suspects were described as wearing all black, including facemasks and hooded sweatshirts. Parsippany Police Department’s Investigative Branch is actively investigating the incident and encourages anyone with information to contact them at 973-263-4300.
