Brick Woman Who Died and Was Revived After Crash Fighting for Life

A woman involved in a crash in Manchester Township on Sunday, Apr. 14, was airlifted to a trauma center hospital in critical condition, where she was fighting for her life due to brain trauma.

Catalina Reinoso, originally from Brick Township, was declared deceased for 17 minutes before being renewed at the crash site. Doctors confirmed that she suffered seizures during and after the accident, leading to further brain trauma.

As of Monday, Apr. 22, a GoFundMe page created for her recovery had already raised over $14,000 from donations. Valentina Reinoso, in an update on Wednesday, Apr. 17, shared that Catalina remained in the intensive care unit with an unspecified length of stay. Several other car occupants injured during the crash had been discharged from the hospital.

Authorities reported that the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office was investigating the incident, with no further details available at the moment. For those wanting to contribute to Catalina Reinoso’s recovery fund, the GoFundMe page can be accessed [here]().
