WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 50-year-old man, identified as Sidney Murdock, was arrested by D.C. Metro Police on Tuesday for misdemeanor sexual abuse and aggressive panhandling.
The arrest followed an incident around 9:10 AM in the 1200 block of New York Avenue in Northeast D.C.
According to the Sex Assault Unit, Murdock, who has no fixed address, allegedly engaged in unwanted sexual contact with a victim while panhandling aggressively. Police responded promptly to the scene and apprehended Murdock.
