Fans are urged to purchase tickets solely from authorized agencies to avoid the risk associated with buying from secondary sources. The BPD aims to prevent such illicit activities by encouraging buyers to stick to official ticket vendors to avoid the possession of invalid or fake tickets.

If any community members possess information regarding the sale of counterfeit tickets, they are advised to reach out to the Boston Police. Information can be shared anonymously by contacting the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS or texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463). The Boston Police Department underlines that they are solely interested in the information being provided and not the identity of the informant.
