Pittsburgh Cops Confront Armed Suspects During ATF BOLO Traffic Stop

Pittsburgh, PA – Pittsburgh Police Violence Prevention Unit detectives conducted a traffic stop at W. Warrington Avenue and Saw Mill Run Blvd around 9 p.m. after receiving a lookout alert for a White Hyundai Accent involved in a gun store burglary in Mercer County.

The ATF issued the alert, leading to the discovery of firearms in the vehicle and the subsequent arrest of three individuals taken into custody for questioning by ATF agents. Any queries regarding the original Mercer County incident should be directed to the ATF.
