Laurel, MD – Detectives are investigating a shooting incident that transpired on Monday evening. Authorities responded to reports of a gunshot victim at a residence on Sweetbay Lane around 9:50 p.m.
The victim, identified as a 27-year-old male, was found with a gunshot wound and was later transported to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in critical condition.
The early investigation indicates that an unidentified assailant(s) unlawfully entered the victim’s residence and shot him.
