Woodbridge, VA – On May 11 at 2:27 PM, officers responded to a residence in the 13500 block of Castlebridge Lane to investigate an assault. A 20-year-old woman reported that an acquaintance, Prince Jakim Isaiah Maldonado, was in her backyard.
When she attempted to reenter the house, Maldonado followed and forced his way inside.
During the encounter, Maldonado allegedly grabbed the victim, wrapped his arm around her neck, and forced her into another room, where he struck her multiple times and brandished a firearm. When the victim tried to call emergency services, Maldonado grabbed and broke the phone. Another family member contacted the police, but Maldonado fled before officers arrived. The victim sustained minor injuries.
Further investigation revealed Maldonado had refused to return the victim’s vehicle, which was recovered and returned the following day. Officers have obtained arrest warrants for Maldonado, but attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information on Maldonado’s whereabouts is urged to contact the authorities.
