Brooklyn Street Altercation Turns Into Broad Daylight Gunfight

BROOKLYN, NY—The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an attempted assault and property damage incident that occurred within the 67th Precinct. On Saturday, May 11, at approximately 4:38 PM, officers responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired at the intersection of Church Avenue and East 45th Street.

According to reports, two individuals engaged in a verbal dispute escalated to gunfire, resulting in damage to a parked vehicle.

Fortunately, there were no physical injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a black and gray hoodie, matching pants, and white sneakers.
