ATLANTIC CITY, NJ—An alleged drug transaction was disrupted by the Atlantic City Police Department, resulting in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of various drugs. The incident took place on Wednesday at approximately 5:42 PM in an alleyway on the first block of South Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Officers Julian Monsalve and William Harned observed Calvin Cross and Angelina Cannon engaged in what appeared to be a drug deal. When Cross and Cannon noticed the police presence, they tried to leave the scene but were quickly apprehended by the officers.
