Brazen Eyeglass Heist at Coop City Boulevard Store

BRONX, NY—A daring robbery took place at a Bronx eyewear store on Thursday, May 23, around 4:00 PM, involving four unidentified men armed with hammers and axes. The suspects stormed into the store located at 691 Coop City Boulevard, where they proceeded to shatter glass display cases and steal over thirty pairs of designer eyeglasses.

The quartet of thieves quickly fled the scene on foot, leaving behind no injuries but considerable property damage. Descriptions of the suspects have been released in hopes of aiding their capture.

The first suspect is a dark-complexioned male with a slim build, seen wearing a white and black baseball cap, white t-shirt, black sweatpants, a black facemask, and black sneakers. The second, also with a dark complexion and slim build, was clad in a gray shirt, black baseball cap, black pants, a white facemask, and black sneakers.

The third individual, described with a medium complexion and slim build, was in a black shirt, gray baseball cap, blue jeans, a white facemask, and black sneakers. The fourth suspect wore gray shoes, a multicolored t-shirt, and a surgical mask. Authorities are actively seeking any information that could lead to the apprehension of these individuals.
