Washington, D.C. – D.C. Police are searching for a suspect involved in multiple thefts near Nationals Park in Southeast D.C.
On Wednesday, May 22, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the suspect broke into a vehicle in a parking garage in the 1500 block of South Capitol Street, Southeast, stealing property before fleeing the scene.
On June 4, at approximately 5:20 p.m., the suspect entered a hotel in the unit block of M Street, Southeast, and stole an employee’s purse. The suspect then used the victim’s credit cards fraudulently across the District.
Later on June 4, at approximately 9:00 p.m., the suspect returned to the parking garage in the 1500 block of South Capitol Street, Southeast, and stole property from another parked vehicle.
Surveillance cameras captured the suspect.
