Drive-By Pellet Gun Shooting at Woodbridge Shopping Mall

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A concerning incident unfolded at the Tackett’s Mill Shopping Mall on the evening of June 25, when a black SUV was reported to have fired pellet-type rounds at two individuals. The event occurred around 10:40 PM in the mall’s parking area, located on Old Bridge Rd.

The victims, a 22-year-old male and a 21-year-old female, were in the parking lot when they were struck by BB or other pellet-type rounds shot from the moving vehicle. Fortunately, neither of the victims sustained injuries from the incident. Moreover, no additional injuries or property damage was reported following the assault.

The police responded promptly to the shots fired call, but the perpetrators had left the scene by the time officers arrived. Authorities are currently investigating the incident, seeking any witnesses and surveillance footage that may help identify the individuals involved in this reckless act.
