Columbus, OH – On April 25, at approximately 2:05 PM, Columbus Police Officers were dispatched to a construction site off Noe-Bixby Road, north of Carbondale Drive, near the Interstate 270 overpass.
Upon arrival, they found 33-year-old Danyaze Evans-Kourouma suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Ms. Evans-Kourouma was known to frequent the areas of Lilley Avenue, Berkeley Road, and E. Livingston Avenue. Detectives are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
