Suspect in Attempted Armed Robbery in D.C. Caught on Camera

WASHINGTON, DC — An attempted armed robbery suspect remains at large following an incident in Northwest on Monday night.

At approximately 9:42 p.m., the suspect entered a business in the 5700 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest. Brandishing a handgun, the suspect demanded money and property from the employee. The employee fled and called 9-1-1, while the suspect left without obtaining any property.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video.
