D.C. Police Arrest Suspect in Forceful Robbery

WASHINGTON, DC—A significant breakthrough has occurred in a robbery case from early July in Northwest Washington, DC. Angelo Long, 45, who has no fixed address, was arrested on Monday for his involvement in a violent robbery.

The incident took place on the evening of Wednesday, July 3, in the 900 block of Randolph Street, where the suspect forcibly stole property from a victim and fled. The victim, who refused medical treatment, had been approached by Long who then executed the robbery.

After weeks of investigative work, detectives were able to apprehend Long on charges of Robbery involving Force and Violence.
