Taxi Driver Robbed at Knifepoint in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY—A 28-year-old female taxi operator was robbed at knifepoint early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred at around 3:00 AM when the driver picked up three unknown individuals in front of 2059 Frederick Douglas Boulevard.

The taxi driver transported the passengers to 559 Nostrand Avenue, where she requested payment for the fare. At this location, the passengers displayed a knife and forcibly stole $300 from her. The assailants then fled the scene on foot.

Fortunately, the taxi operator was not injured during the robbery. The police are currently investigating the incident and seeking information on the suspects.
