75-Year-Old Man Dies Following Utica Shooting, Police Investigating as Homicide

UTICA, N.Y. — A 75-year-old man who was shot in Utica on Saturday has died from his injuries, according to the Utica Police Department. The incident, which occurred on August 17, is now being investigated as a homicide.

The Utica Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
