Police Searching for Armed Suspect in Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a menacing incident that took place in Staten Island last month.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on Saturday, August 24, at approximately 8:50 p.m. inside a building located at 3854 Richmond Avenue. A 50-year-old man was approached by an unidentified individual who displayed a firearm. The suspect then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

Police reported that the victim was not injured during the encounter. No further details regarding the suspect’s identity or motive have been disclosed.

The NYPD has released images of the suspect in an effort to gather more information. Anyone with information regarding the individual’s identity or whereabouts is encouraged to contact the NYPD.

The investigation remains ongoing.
