BMX Regional Championship Coming to Egg Harbor, Here’s What You Need to Know

by Breaking Local News Report

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. — The Egg Harbor Township Police Department is advising residents to prepare for traffic disruptions around Veteran’s Memorial Park this weekend as the Northeast Regional BMX Championship takes place. The event, scheduled from Friday to Sunday, is expected to draw visitors from outside the state.

Access to areas surrounding the park, including Castle Park, will be restricted, and parking will be limited. Authorities are encouraging residents to allow extra time for travel and to consider alternate routes, particularly on Ocean Heights Avenue, where delays are expected.

“Many residents may be unaware of the fact that Egg Harbor Township is home to one of the best BMX tracks in the entire country,” the department said in a statement. The event is anticipated to bring numerous competitors and spectators to the area.
