Columbus Police Issue Warrants in Juvenile Sexual Abuse Case

COLUMBUS, OH – On Sunday, at 7:00 pm, Columbus Police Department (CPD) Patrol Officers were dispatched to Doctors West Hospital following a report of a sexual abuse concern involving a juvenile victim. The victim disclosed the sexual abuse incident to her mother, prompting the mother to take the child to the hospital. The victim also shared details of the abuse with the responding officers.

After subsequent interviews conducted at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, detectives issued three warrants for Rape of a Child under 13 years of age and three warrants for Sexual Battery against Luis Miguel Toro-Gonzalez.

Luis Miguel Toro-Gonzalez is described as being 5’8″ tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Distinctive tattoos include a marijuana leaf on the top of his left hand, a depiction of Jesus’s face on his left tricep, and “Luz Mi Lago” on his upper back. Toro-Gonzalez is originally from Venezuela and only speaks Spanish.

The suspect left the scene on foot and does not possess a cell phone.
