Stafford County Reports Fraud, Larceny, and Public Intoxication Incidents

Stafford, VA – The Office of the Stafford County Sheriff released the daily incident report for Wednesday, detailing various crimes, including fraud, larceny, and public intoxication.

On Tuesday at 1:14 p.m., Deputy A.M. Pitts responded to a report of fraudulent charges on a credit card. The resident on Misty Creek Lane discovered $4,000 in unauthorized charges on his account.

In another incident, a theft was reported on Waters Cove early Tuesday at 12:39 a.m. A porch pirate stole several packages from the residence, and Deputy J.W. Ahern is investigating the case.

Also on Tuesday at 5:01 a.m., a resident on Wateredge Lane reported her Toyota Camry missing. She had provided the vehicle to an acquaintance who failed to return it, leading to the car being entered as stolen in law enforcement databases.

Theft of building supplies was reported on Doolittle Farm Road at 9:03 a.m. The construction site supervisor noted that the supplies had been taken within the past week.
