Deal Police Investigate Burglaries Involving High-End Vehicles

Deal, NJ – On Thursday at approximately 5:09 a.m., Deal Police Department responded to a burglary and motor vehicle theft at a residence on Norwood Avenue. Investigators found that intruders had entered the home by forcefully opening a first-floor window and had stolen a high-end vehicle parked in the driveway.

The following day, at around 4:02 a.m., Patrolman Zach Bell observed a suspicious vehicle in the Borough of Interlaken on Buttermere Avenue. The vehicle carried a fictitious license plate and showed signs of targeting high-end vehicles. When Bell attempted a vehicle stop, the suspect vehicle fled at high speed into a neighboring area.

There have been similar incidents reported by law enforcement across Monmouth County. The Deal Police Department is actively investigating these occurrences.
