Public Intoxication Call Ends with Drug Arrest

Wilkes-Barre, PA – Authorities responded to a public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia incident on Tuesday.

The occurrence took place on Brader Drive at 7:24 PM. Officers were dispatched to the location following reports of an intoxicated and disorderly male, Gregory Cierniakoski.

Upon arrival, officers were informed by the complainant that Cierniakoski was intoxicated and had departed the residence. Officers later found him and noted he was under the influence of a controlled substance to a dangerous degree.

Cierniakoski, aged 42, was arrested and a search revealed possession of drug paraphernalia. He was then transported to City Headquarters for processing.
