GOSHEN, N.Y. — Rahyim Woodson, 39, of Orange, New Jersey, pleaded guilty Tuesday to criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, according to Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler. Woodson’s conviction follows a long-term investigation into drug sales in and around Middletown.

The charges against Woodson stem from six incidents during the summer of 2022, when he sold narcotics to undercover officers in Middletown. Lab tests confirmed the presence of cocaine, fentanyl, and heroin in the drugs he sold. At the plea hearing, Woodson admitted to knowingly selling the substances.

Woodson, who has a prior felony drug conviction, faces up to seven years in prison, along with three years of post-release supervision. Sentencing is scheduled for December 3, 2024.
