East Brunswick Police Announce No Shave November for Cancer Awareness

by Breaking Local News Report

East Brunswick, NJ – The East Brunswick Police Department has announced its participation in #NoShaveNovember to support cancer awareness efforts. Chief Frank LoSacco has permitted officers to grow facial hair throughout the month after making a donation.

The No Shave movement, which began in 2009, invites individuals, businesses, and organizations to abstain from shaving during November. This initiative aims to honor cancer patients who often lose their hair during treatment and to foster discussions on cancer awareness.

Department members will be participating by forgoing shaving in November, each contributing $10. The funds raised will support cancer prevention, research, and education efforts.
