WASHINGTON, D.C. — A 16-year-old was arrested Thursday in connection with a coat robbery at gunpoint near Dunbar High School earlier this week, according to police.

The incident occurred Monday on the 100 block of N Street Northwest, where the victim was robbed of their coat at gunpoint. On Thursday, officers from the Third District responded to reports of a second sighting of the suspect at the same location and took the teen into custody.

The juvenile, a resident of Northwest D.C., has been charged with armed robbery, police confirmed.

A second suspect in the robbery remains at large and was captured on surveillance footage released by investigators.

The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of additional suspects involved in the case.
