BALTIMORE, MD — Police have arrested 29-year-old Dakwane Cole in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman and the wounding of a man in Baltimore’s Eastern District earlier this month.

The incident occurred on November 6 at approximately 10:43 a.m. in the 1800 block of North Montford Avenue, where officers responding to a ShotSpotter alert found 30-year-old Bianca Nelson and a 31-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Nelson was pronounced dead at the scene, while the male victim survived.

Detectives identified Cole as the suspect and arrested him on November 25 in the same block where the shooting occurred. Police say Cole has been charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder and is being held at the Central Booking Intake Facility.
