Shooting reported near Myrtle Beach’s Ocean Boulevard; no injuries confirmed

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Police responded to reports of a shooting near 2nd Avenue South and Ocean Boulevard on Saturday evening, according to a statement from the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

Officers arrived at the scene at approximately 8:53 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire in the area. Authorities confirmed that no injuries have been reported as of now.

Law enforcement remains on site as the investigation into the incident continues, and additional police presence is expected in the vicinity.
