Willingboro teen arrested in armed home invasion on Ballad Lane

The arrest follows swift investigative work by Willingboro detectives to track the suspect.

WILLINGBORO, NJ — An 18-year-old man has been arrested following an armed home invasion that occurred on December 28, 2024, in the Ballad Lane area, according to the Willingboro Police Department.

Officers responded to a report of a home invasion at approximately 7:45 p.m. and learned that an unidentified suspect had entered the home, proceeded to the second floor, and confronted the homeowner in the main bedroom. Police said the suspect, armed with a black firearm, demanded the victim’s purse, wallet, and cellphone before fleeing through the rear door with the stolen items.

Shortly after the robbery, investigators discovered that the stolen credit cards were used to make food purchases at multiple locations.

Detectives identified and arrested Jazihe Williams, 18, of Willingboro, in connection with the incident. The investigation into the case was conducted by the Willingboro Police Department Detective Bureau.

Authorities have not disclosed whether the stolen belongings were recovered or if Williams has been charged with additional crimes.
